A Different Breed Of Wedding Photographer

There are so many wedding photographers around Geelong. And it’s definitely a hard industry to crack and get a decent foothold in. So why give me the honour of being your wedding photographer? For one, I’m in the people business. Not necessarily the photo business… What?! Yeah, it’s a weird thing to say if I’m actually a wedding photographer! But it’s my job to make my couples feel totally comfortable on their wedding day. When my couples and their friends and family are feeling great, that’s when the magic happens and you get the best photos of your wedding day. Let the good times roll!

My style

I don’t use that washed out orange filter on my pics like every other wedding photographer seems to do right now. You know the one where everyone looks like they’ve been fake tanned to hell and the photographer has told the couple not to look at each other. And why is no one smiling? Weird for a wedding day, huh?

Put simply, I help amazing couples like you two by capturing the most heart-explodingly, bloody amazing day of your life in all the colour, fun and natural awesomeness that it deserves! And I’ll do my damndest to give you the best experience ever on your wedding journey.

My wedding photographer horror story …

When my wife Samantha and I tied the knot a few years ago, we weren’t so lucky with our choice of our wedding photographer. I wasn’t in the wedding industry back then, so how was I to know what we were getting ourselves into?! 

What we got was not a reflection of our day and it wasn’t a reflection of us as a couple. I even had to do my own editing! What the actual F*#K?!

All we were left with was a gallery of awkwardly posed photos, bad memories of a wedding photographer with a shitty attitude, and don’t even get me started on the supposed premium album! 

What I learned from our wedding photographer

This is why I do what I do. I like to think of it as saving couples from horrible photographic disasters, one wedding at a time!

Honestly, our experience turned out to be one of the reasons I have become a wedding photographer now. I use it as fuel for my fire ? to work as hard as I do for my couples. Not just on the wedding day but in the months prior, and after the cake has been cut (and blisters healed)!
