Wedding Photography at Quirindi Stables
Chanel and Alec’s wedding at Quirindi Stables was full of character, colour, and the kind of energy you can’t plan for. Dogs walking down the aisle. Big laughs from start to finish. A couple who didn’t take themselves too seriously, but still managed to land every emotional moment when it counted.

They met at The Irish on a night out. Both were a bit drunk. Neither remembers exactly how the conversation started, but they ended up back at Chanel’s place, with a very clear disclaimer that still gets brought up to this day. From that night came a dinner date, then another, and then four years that felt like five minutes.
They got engaged on August 9, just one day before their four-year anniversary. Alec had planned an off-grid weekend in a cabin, surrounded by paddocks and dogs. They’d agreed not to do gifts while saving for their house, so when Chanel unwrapped a necklace, she overcompensated with excitement, even though she’d secretly hoped for a ring. Ten minutes later, Alec casually asked if she wanted more jewellery. Then he got down on one knee and made it official.

Real Wedding Story of Chanel + Alec
There wasn’t a strict theme or styled setup. Quirindi Stables doesn’t need much. It already feels personal and grounded. The couple leaned into that—kept things relaxed, trusted the vibe, and let the moments unfold.
The ceremony was full of life. Dogs walking down the aisle. Friends holding back tears. Chanel was watching to see if Alec would cry. Once they said “I do,” the energy shifted straight into celebration. That sweet spot where the pressure is off and the good times really begin.

There were portraits with the dogs, flowers in the air, hugs that lingered longer than expected, and a party that rolled on once all the formalities were out of the way.
Chanel + Alec were most excited for the chaos and joy of it all. The aisle moment. The dogs. The dance floor. The chance to just be themselves, with their people, in a space that felt like theirs.

Country Wedding in Victoria with Dogs, Drinks and Zero Stress
Chanel’s planning advice was straight to the point. Don’t overthink it. Pick what you like, stop second-guessing yourself, and keep it fun. The more relaxed you are, the more the day becomes about the people and the moments, not the logistics.
This Quirindi Stables wedding didn’t need a theme or a big plan. It needed real connection, loose timelines, happy dogs, and a couple who were absolutely in it together.
