Wedding Photography at Mt Duneed Estate
Jess and Michael’s wedding at Mt Duneed Estate was full of connection, warmth and relaxed energy. From a sunrise proposal on Four Mile Beach to golden hour kisses among the vines, their day felt effortless in all the right ways.

They met at ‘Bar, Hop, Shuffle’ in Brunswick between lockdowns. Jess was out for her birthday. Michael skipped the check-in line and was sitting solo when one of Jess’s friends called out, “Have you been stood up?” That sparked a conversation, and the rest took care of itself.
In April 2024, Michael proposed at sunrise on Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas. The day was spent snorkelling the reef and soaking it all in. Their relationship has always been grounded in good food, time near the water, and a shared love of just keeping things simple.

Real Wedding Story of Jess + Michael
They described their wedding style as “classy with a touch of rustic.” The ceremony overlooked the vines at Mt Duneed Estate, with soft afternoon light and a clear sense that everyone there was part of something important. Their bridal party brought the energy, and once the formalities were done, the dance floor didn’t take long to kick off.
They couldn’t wait to celebrate as husband and wife. That first dance together hit differently because the day had already been filled with so much honesty and love. There was no pressure to perform or pose. Just a steady, grounded feeling that this was exactly where they were meant to be.

When they look back on their album in ten years, the photos they’ll smile at most are the unplanned ones. Their first kiss. Sunset portraits, when the nerves had settled. Big group hugs with family and quiet moments with each other. No fuss, just real.
When I asked them for one piece of advice for couples planning a wedding, it was simple. Don’t overthink it. Pour the wine, enjoy your planning nights, and try not to re-mortgage the house in the process!
Relaxed Vineyard Wedding in Geelong
Jess and Michael’s Mt Duneed Estate wedding was proof that you don’t need a complicated plan to create something meaningful. What made their day memorable wasn’t a perfect schedule or a checklist. It was the intention behind it, the people around them, and the space they gave themselves to enjoy the moment.
